About the Business
House of Hair and Beauty, formally known as "Michaels" is Honiton's most established hair salon, with over 65 years of history in the town. From its humble beginnings, the salon has developed and grown with the town into the thriving salon we have today. In 2007, due to the success of the business it became necessary to expand, so the salon relocated to larger premises, but still remains in New Street. It was at this time the salon become known as House of Hair to reflect the modern feel and the direction that Linda Sansom wanted to take the salon in.
As we are proud of our long standing association within the community of Honiton, you will notice that our shop sign still bears an acknowledgement to our past with "Michaels" clearly displayed for those who remember.
In 2012 Linda introduced the beauty room to the salon, offering a complete service for clients. The salon today is well maintained to a high standard with a fresh decor and mood lighting throughout the salon and beauty room.
