About the Business
Gorgeous is quite simply a new concept in hairdressing, located in the heart of the historic town of Berkhamsted. We opened the salon in 2006, after working for many years in Berkhamsted and we decided it was time for change.
The idea behind the Salon is simple: exceptional hairdressing skills, unsurpassed customer service in a relaxed, stylish & friendly environment.
All Salons at the moment seem to look the same, you will notice that the majority are quite clinical, overly minimalist with pumping music, unnecessary TV screens with all their staff dressed in black. We naturally felt we wanted to do something about this. We spent time thinking of key words that were the most important to us, we wanted our salon to feel welcoming, warm and friendly. Try the Gorgeous test next time you are needing a hair appointment and you will notice the difference, not only in the hairdressing but in the atmosphere.
