About the Business
It all started with my father, Andrew. He started his career with my Grandfather back in the fifties in a small village on the island of Cyprus called Athienou. Sadly my Grandfather passed away at an early age and my father then took over the family barbering business at the age of just 14yrs old in 1958. Despite these hard times my father, like most of us wanted to pursue his dreams, to create a better future for himself and his family. Being the eldest child with two sisters and a brother, he came to England to work in 1961 with the support of his fathers friend. He worked 6 days a week in a salon and 6 evenings a week in a restaurant. In march 1964 my father opened his own salon at the age of 21.
In the following years, family came over from Cyprus and through hard work and determination he created one of the busiest barber shops in Northampton.
